Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca

Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca has a vision and mission founded on a love for Mexico, its heritage, culture, and arts, especially its folkloric arts. The dance troupe seeks to share its passion of Mexican arts and culture and inspire the world to explore the various wonders Mexico has to offer.

By telling the stories of Mexico’s culture and traditions through dance, the group hopes that others will also be inspired to look at their roots, culture, and heritage.

This day starts with a FREE inter-cultural dance workshop for students in grades 1 – 12. Students of any ethnic background are welcome. They will be taught a basic traditional Mexican dance and will perform the dance they learned at 7:00 pm, before the satrt of the full ballet and will have free admittance to the full ballet.

Class Time are:

1)  Noon – 1:15 pm (arrive at 11:45) – grades 1 – 3

2)  1:15 – 2:30 pm (arrive at 1:00) – grades 4 – 7

3)  2:30 – 3:45 pm (arrive at 2:15) – grades 8 – 12
