More on The Adventures of Thin Man…
Dashiell Hammett’s detective couple has proved durable, appearing in movies, TV, and radio. Though little remembered today, The Adventures of the Thin Man radio series was broadcast on all four major radio networks under various sponsors from 1941 to 1950. Claudia Morgan played female lead Nora Charles throughout the program’s entire nine-year run, and as many men portrayed her husband Nicky as there were networks. The radio series was modeled after the film series, which was based on the 1934 Dashiell Hammett novel.
